Journal Profile, Focus, and History

Jurnal Guru Dikmen Diksus (JGDD) is a scholarly platform for disseminating research, innovative practices, and professional perspectives that advance teacher professionalism and educational quality, particularly in secondary and special education. The journal publishes research findings, conceptual studies, and evidence-informed educational practices to support professional development and educational improvement.

Journal Focus

JGDD focuses on teaching and learning, teacher development, educational management, instructional innovation, literacy, educational supervision, and other issues relevant to secondary and special education.

Journal History

Following the publication of Volume 6, Issue 1, in 2023, JGDD experienced cybersecurity attacks that disrupted its online platform until mid-2024. In October 2024, institutional restructuring in Indonesia necessitated the migration of the journal’s domain from jgdd.kemendikbud.go.id to jgdd.kemendikdasmen.go.id. The broader recovery and transition process took approximately two years. Throughout this period, submission records and editorial correspondence remained traceable through email archives, supporting the continuity of the journal’s documentation. JGDD remains committed to strengthening its digital infrastructure, preserving scholarly records, and maintaining publication integrity.

This issue of Jurnal Guru Dikmen Diksus, Volume 9, Issue 1 (January–June 2026), published on 30 June 2026, contains ten research articles written in English, comprising 176 pages and authored by 16 contributors with 12 institutional affiliations across Indonesia. The articles address educational innovation, instructional material development, digital attendance management, differentiated instruction, disaster risk reduction literacy, technology-enhanced science education, student creativity, and religious moderation.
