Self-Care Interactive Media For Parents Students With Intellectual Disability

Parents' understanding of self-development in self-care for students in learning at home during the pandemic is considered low. This study aims to develop interactive media for self-care for parents of students with intellectual disability. This study was conducted at home from the parents of students who were participants in this study. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that parents' understanding of self-development shows that many parents themselves still do not understand the importance of self-development for students. In the aspect of the role of parents in teaching self-development to learners with intellectual disability, low parental participation was found in teaching self-development.
